ROCK ISLAND — The Retro Television Network (RTV) has been replaced with the Live Well Network, according to information posted on the CBS4 WHBF-TV website.

The Live Well Network will be the market’s primary destination for lifestyle television, according to the announcement. “Live Well Network offers a wide range of entertainment-based programs, including home decorating, fashion and beauty, food, health, outdoor adventures, travel and finance. The programs are hosted by a team dedicated to inspiring viewers with easy tips and great ideas.”

“There is nothing on the minds of Americans more than health, fitness and other lifestyle issues, and we feel like, as a television station, we have a role to play in that movement toward wellness,” said Marshall Porter, WHBF-TV senior vice president and general manager.

The Live Well Network launched at midnight Sunday and replaces the Retro Television Network on WHBF-TV.

“We’ve had a good run with RTV and want to thank those viewers who have been loyal to it,” said Mr. Porter. “But our contract with RTV was expiring, and we thought it was a perfect opportunity to find a more meaningful and substantive program service for our second channel.”
